Specialty Groups, Inc. is seeking someone in the civil or architectural
program for a full or part-time estimator position. Position available in the Clarksburg, WV area.

Degree need not be complete.
Flexible working hours; we will work around your course schedule.
An excellent learning experience in the construction industry.

Qualifications:

Familiar with reading industrial, structural, and commercial plans (blue prints).
Experience with spreadsheets and word processors.
Good mathematical background.
Have own transportation and willing to travel within the state to visit job sites.

Square foot take-offs on structural steel bridges, buildings, etc.
Square foot take-offs on commercial type buildings. (Interior / Exterior)
Square foot take-offs from existing structures via site visits.
(Bridges, industrial structures and plants, buildings, locks and dams etc.)
Bid opportunity searching.
Project bidding assistance.
Material and equipment research and pricing.
Spreadsheet entry and maintenance.
Project management assistance.
Word processing.
And as many more skills as you wish to learn.
